Bingo

In your Jamaica travel, you may want to play bingo! A Bingo game is a great way to pass the time and get to know people in the local community. However, if you want to play bingo at the comfort of your home, you can log on to online bingo websites and come in contact with other bingo players from different parts of the world.

Jamaican Street Party

Jamaican dancehall is famous for being the conduit to development of many musical styles. In Montego Bay or Negril Jamaica there are actual halls for dancehall. But in the country, you learn dancehall at "street parties" that rotate around the communities.

Jamaican Cooking

Owen cooks the most wonderful meals, so last visit we asked if we could watch him cook and glean some hints from him. He most gratiously granted our request. This was one of the best cooking lesson vacations!

Mokko Saves My Life

by Dianne Birney

Mokko saved my life the first time he was our guide.  My family says I am too dramatic, but I know I was not getting out of that pool by myself.

A Letter From Mokko

by Ras Soloman Jackson (Mokko)

Come discover Jamaica and find something new about life. Why not come to the eastern end of Jamaica in the Parish of St. Thomas.

I am Ras Soloman Jackson (Mokko). I was born in St. Thomas on 22nd June, 1952. I grew up on Old Road and learned about roots from my father and another man in Sunning Hill. After leaving school, I went on a skill training program as a stone wall builder and worked at that for fifteen years.
