In Jamaica, parents must supply school uniforms and supplies. This is a large barrier for many families who want to send their children to school.

Lunch of buns and milk are provided everyday. But, a box lunch of rice and peas and chicken can be purchased at the tuc shop (little shop) across the street, for those who can afford it. This is a mighty fine treat.
